Mixing Ratio – Developer
For base shades No. 9 to No. 10 to achieve sufficient gray coverage, use a 1:1 ratio (100ml color + 100ml developer). For half portion: 50ml color + 50ml developer.
When there are no gray hairs, you may use 30vol or 40vol developer depending on the level you want to achieve:
20vol (6%) → Ideal for gray coverage. Maintains the same level or lifts up to 1 level, or use when coloring to a darker shade.
30vol (9%) → Lifts 2–3 levels.
40vol (12%) → Lifts 3–4 levels.

On natural bases 8–9, delivers a very light blonde with gentle warmth.
On very light or pre-lightened bases 9–10, works as a refining/toning shade, brightening the blonde and enhancing clarity and shine.
Indicative Base & Shade Combinations You can combine the base shade with complementary tones to create the desired color result:
Beige (neutral) tones: 8.9 – 9.7
Golden (caramel) tones: 8.9 – 9.9
When mixing base + tone, adjust their proportions according to the percentage of gray hair to achieve full coverage and the desired result:
20%–30% gray → 60ml tone + 40ml base
30%–40% gray → 50ml tone + 50ml base
50%+ gray → 30ml tone + 70ml base
Preparation
Wear disposable gloves.
Protect the hairline with a little cream or oil to prevent staining.
Use a plastic or glass bowl (not metal).
Mixing
Mix color with developer in a 1:1 ratio.
Stir well until a smooth, homogeneous blend forms.
For enhanced results, add one Christian Artesio technical ampoule. Enriched with moisturizing and protective ingredients, it adds extra shine and hydration, helps prevent breakage, and protects the scalp throughout processing.
Application (First Time)
Apply to dry, unwashed hair.
Start at the roots and then distribute through lengths and ends.
Ensure even saturation.
Processing Time
Leave on for 30–40 minutes.
With heat (cap, film, foil, climazon), reduce to 15–25 minutes.
Rinsing – Shampooing
Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
Wash with a color-protect shampoo for better protection and shine.
If stains remain on the skin, use a dye stain remover.
Subsequent Applications
For future applications, prepare the mixture and apply to roots as above.
Apply to lengths and ends only in the last 5 minutes to refresh color without stressing the hair.
Perform a patch test 48 hours before application, even if you have used hair dyes before.
Do not use to dye eyelashes or eyebrows.
Avoid contact with eyes; in case of contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
Always wear gloves during mixing and application.
If tingling, burning, or itching occurs, rinse immediately, discontinue use, and consult a doctor.
Do not use after henna or metallic dyes.
Do not use immediately after perming, smoothing, or straightening.
Do not use metal tools.
Do not apply on irritated or injured scalp.
Store in a cool, shaded place, away from children and pets.
Always follow instructions for choosing the correct developer.
Not intended for persons under 16 years of age.
