Steps

1. Heat the wax in a wax heater until it reaches a fluid, elastic consistency (not overly liquid).
2. Before application, test a small amount of wax on the inside of your wrist to ensure the temperature is comfortable.
3. Optionally, apply a pre-wax lotion to cleanse the skin of excess oil and perspiration. This helps improve wax adhesion to the hair.
4. Using a spatula, apply a sufficient amount of wax in the direction of hair growth, creating an even layer that is not too thin. Leave a small edge or tab for easy removal.
5. Wait a few seconds until the wax becomes matte and elastic. Hold the skin taut and remove the wax with a quick, firm motion against the direction of hair growth and parallel to the skin. The movement should be controlled (medium speed), neither too slow nor excessively abrupt.
